Ramotswa, South-East District
Ramotswa is a large village located in the South-East District of Botswana, ca. 25km drive from Gaborone. The village is popular due to its close, commutable distance, from Gaborone, as well as its' relatively easy accessibility, for the most-part via the main A1 highway. The village comprises primarily of a diverse range of residential properties as well as commercial properties and shopping centres, a police station, several filling stations, schools, religious centres, medical facilities and major industrial concerns, such as Bolux Group. In addition, the village serves a main transit point (via the Ramotswa Border Post) linking Botswana with South Africa, particularly for travelers travelling between Gaborone and Rustenburg or Johannesburg via Zeerust (ca. 93km drive from Ramotswa).
