Kasane at a glance
Kasane is a town situated at the northern tip of Botswana, in an area with an abundance of wildlife and natural untouched flora, on the edge of the Chobe National Park on the banks of the mighty Chobe River. Kasane is a tourism hotspot, frequented by both local and international tourists, strategically located in close proximity of other tourist attractions such as Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe), Livingstone (Zambia), Zambesi National Park and Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. In addition to the Kasane International Airport, the town further benefits from good road transport links to Namibia (via Ngoma Bridge/ Border Post), Zambia (Kazungula Bridge/ Border Post) and Zimbabwe (Kazungula Border Post). The town has several luxury lodges along the Chobe river front, a 9-hole golf course, shops, restaurants/ fast-food outlets, schools, a police station, fuel stations and a wide variety of other amenities.
