Kanye, Southern District

Kanye is one of Botswana's largest village, with a population of ca. 48,028 (2022 population census) and located ca. 80km south-west of the capital city, Gaborone. The village is the administrative centre of the Southern District and is populated with assorted residential and commercial/ industrial properties, all benefitting from its relatively easy accessibility just off the main A2 highway. Kanye comprises of local shopping facilities, religious centres, a renowned mission hospital (Kanye Adventist Hospital), schools and business centres.
