Bokaa, Kgatleng District
Bokaa is a village located ca. 29 kilometers north of the Gaborone City Centre, and is widely considered as a suburb of Greater Gaborone due to its' close proximity and its' easy accessibility, for the most part, by dual-carriage highway. Bokaa is home to the Bokaa Dam, a large dam which supplies water to Gaborone and is an attractive picnic spot with its' wonderful landscape and abundant birdlife, attracting visitors from Gaborone and surroundings which creates a diverse range of opportunities for investors in the village. The village comprises primarily of small-holdings/ farms, privately developed/ developing residential properties, schools such as Bokaa Primary School; places of worship, such as The Old Apostle Church, restaurants, lodges and a variety of local General Dealers. Its close proximity to Gaborone, Pilane and Mochudi affords its' residents relatively easy access, and convenience, to the amenities and facilities of the neighbouring villages and city of Gaborone.
